Fortunately, we provide a number of ways to explore and get to know your virtual universe.
1. Use the Search: AMU comes with a planetary list built in, so you can easily locate planets with themes that suit your tastes. Later in development, we will also include Site Searching which will allow builders to tag their locations for easy listings.
2. Ask Somebody: There are tons of people in Andromeda Media Universe, maybe you will make friends?
3. Actually Explore: Nothing beats just exploring the universe to see the sights. You'll be amazed at what you will find on each planet, and the people you will meet along the way.

Within this amazing society of users, it's easy to find people with similar interests to you. Once you meet people you like, you find it's easy to communicate and stay in touch.
At any time there are dozens of events where you can party at nightclubs, attend fashion shows and art openings or just play games.
Staying in touch is as simple as adding people to your contacts list. Talking is as easy as simply talking with your microphone. For users who do not have a microphone, we also offer standard text chat complete with built in spell checking to help you along.
Looking for even more? AMU also offers a built in Jooce.com desktop. From here you can store files, trade with other users, and even keep in touch with your AIM, MSN, and even Yahoo instant messenger contacts! And when you log out of AMU, you can still log into your Jooce account seperately to keep in touch from the web.
Build Your Virtual Dream
Andromeda Media Universe offers a vast selection of planets where you can stake your claim. Known as Public Building Worlds, land on these planets is a first come, first serve basis - but it is also free. Simply find an empty space and claim it for yourself.
Some planet owners may charge a fee for space on their planets, and if so, the message center will inform you for whom you should contact in order to arrange land ownership on that planet.
Unlike other systems, staking a claim in this virtual environment does not cost additional fees and taxes. There is always a public building world at your disposal.
